Statement of Commitment

ICT Dynamix recognises that its operations — including office activities, technical field work, equipment procurement, and the management of end-of-life technology — have an environmental footprint. The company is committed to operating in an environmentally responsible manner and to minimising unnecessary negative impact wherever this is reasonably achievable.

Environmental responsibility is treated as part of good business practice, not as a secondary consideration. Management is accountable for ensuring that the objectives in this policy are embedded into day-to-day operations.

Energy Use

ICT Dynamix aims to use energy efficiently across its office and technical operations. This includes:

• Encouraging staff to switch off equipment and lighting when not in use
• Configuring servers, network equipment, and workstations with appropriate power-saving settings where technically feasible
• Considering energy efficiency as a factor in equipment procurement decisions

Waste Management

The company seeks to minimise unnecessary waste in its operations. Where waste is unavoidable, the preference is for reuse and recycling over disposal. Staff are encouraged to reduce unnecessary printing and to consider the environmental impact of consumable use.

Electronic Equipment and E-Waste

ICT Dynamix handles significant volumes of electronic equipment on behalf of clients and within its own operations. The company is committed to responsible handling of end-of-life equipment, including:

• Recommending equipment reuse or refurbishment where technically viable before disposal
• Ensuring that decommissioned equipment is disposed of through appropriate channels and not simply discarded
• Advising clients on responsible e-waste disposal practices as part of equipment lifecycle management

Procurement

Where practical and commercially reasonable, ICT Dynamix considers environmental performance when selecting suppliers and products. This includes giving preference to products with recognised energy efficiency credentials and avoiding materials or processes known to carry significant environmental risks.

Travel and Field Operations

Where multiple site visits can be consolidated without compromising service quality, ICT Dynamix will do so. Staff are encouraged to consider whether a remote resolution is adequate before committing to on-site attendance.

Monitoring and Review

This policy is reviewed annually. ICT Dynamix will progressively develop more specific environmental targets as the company’s capacity to measure and manage its environmental impact grows.
