Statement of Commitment

ICT Dynamix is committed to maintaining a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible working environment for all staff, clients, contractors, and visitors. We recognise that effective management of safety, health, and environmental matters is integral to the professional operation of our business and to the wellbeing of the people connected to it.

Management accepts ultimate responsibility for ensuring that the obligations set out in this policy are resourced, communicated, and upheld across all operations.

SHE Objectives

ICT Dynamix is committed to the following safety, health, and environment objectives:

  • Maintain a workplace free from foreseeable hazards to health and safety
  • Ensure all staff, contractors, and visitors are aware of applicable safety expectations and emergency procedures
  • Provide appropriate protective equipment for technical and field operations
  • Report, investigate, and record all workplace incidents and near-misses
  • Comply with applicable Botswana occupational health and safety legislation
  • Minimise the environmental impact of operational activities where possible

Employee Responsibilities

All staff are required to take reasonable care for their own health and safety and for the health and safety of others affected by their work. This includes:

  • Following all applicable safety procedures and guidelines
  • Using provided equipment safely and as intended
  • Reporting hazards, incidents, or unsafe conditions to management promptly
  • Participating in safety training and awareness initiatives
  • Not undertaking work for which they are not adequately trained or equipped

Field and Technical Operations

ICT Dynamix technical staff engaged in field activities — including cabling, equipment installation, and site support — are required to follow appropriate safe work practices for their specific environment. This includes proper use of tools, awareness of electrical hazards, safe working at height where required, and compliance with any site-specific safety requirements set by the client.

Incident Reporting

Any workplace accident, injury, near-miss, or hazardous situation must be reported to the responsible manager without delay. A record is maintained for all reported incidents. Serious incidents are reviewed by management to determine contributing factors and to implement appropriate corrective action.

Legal Compliance

ICT Dynamix operates in compliance with applicable Botswana occupational health and safety legislation, including the Factories Act and any relevant sector regulations. The company monitors regulatory developments and updates its practices accordingly.

Policy Review

This policy is reviewed annually by management or following any significant incident, change in applicable legislation, or material change in the company’s operations. All staff are made aware of any revisions.
